Harper’s Highlights was founded by Tanya Harper, an experienced and talented hair colorist with a salon located in New York City and the island of Barbados. She has been honing her craft for over 18 years and specializes in blonde highlights, creative color, and ombré looks. Tanya believes that hair is art and a form of expression of the client’s personal style. She is artistically talented and draws inspiration from street and fashion trends, which she translates into flawless color.
When you book with our salon, Tanya will perform a detailed consultation with you to assess your needs and desires. Her goal is to ensure that everyone is comfortable with our services; while meeting and exceeding all expectations. Because of her many years of experience, Tanya understands hair and is innovative in her coloring technique.
At Harper’s Highlights, we believe in creating beautiful, natural highlights that capture the essence of a child’s pure hair color. Tanya uses at least four shades done in patterns to keep your hair looking natural and soft as it grows out. Her signature technique embodies seamless transitions, balance, and multi-dimensional color.
